"Baduk!"
Hah! Good evening and thanks for indulging me. Where to begin? Casually obsessed (is there such a thing...) player of 13 months, 21 days, 23 hours and 25 minutes seeking like-minded humans to regularly play, review, kibitz, talk and maybe even learn about Go with; and I suppose a bit of fun while at it couldn't hurt.
My rank's rank — all over the place, so I make no specific or certain claims. Areas of my game seem relatively stronger than others, but I'm having trouble usefully defining those boundaries and prioritizing when really everything needs (a lot of) work. Willingness to put in that "work" is about the only thing I am certain of.
It's mythspell here and mythspell on OGS. Happy to accept challenges, links, recommendations, tips and whatever else anyone cares to throw my way. Happen to be reading this and newer still to the game? Shoot me a message: I'm more than happy to run through the basic rules and play games, judgement free.
Cheers and thanks for taking the time! Looking forward to life in 19x19.

I think it depends on whom it is slapping.
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

Which depends, in turn, on whom one is playing.

Welcome!
Agreed there are so many different ways to appreciate GO! But I have never tried placing stones with a paddle.
