Switching off GameCenter (notifications etc.) in iOS fails for you?

You will find in iOS10 that it is gone. Not just deletable, but gone. Apple scrapped it. Hurray! I hated it too.
There is something called GameKit that developers can use instead.

I do have Game Center notifications turned off, and I did sign out of Game Center. But everytime I sign into my Apple ID it seems to sign me into Game Center as well. Not that that would make a difference; when I'm signed out and open EasyGo, it gives me another annoying screen wanting me to sign in.

Game Center in iOS is totally broken. It's necessary to be able to turn it off from the app's side.
