AlphaGo Zero gets super strong at chess and shogi too
pookpooi already made a thread here, but it didn't have the keywords of chess and shogi in the title so I made this post to increase awareness.

… but I think it should be “AlphaZero”, not “AlphaGo Zero”
<edit>
And maybe pookpooi could simply adjust the thread title by editing the OP?

I just ran across this video, where GM Denes Boros discusses AlphaZero vs. Stockfish. Like me, he thinks that Deepmind hypes AlphaZero too much.

In my opinion, this match was quite a non-sense after all... the hardware factor seems too important here, and it was completely out of balance.
