What to do with the Godisussions.org domain

Several years ago, someone passed along the domain to me, saying that he didn't have a use for it currently, but did not want it to get lost or misused. I accepted it, and have been paying the registration fees since then.

The registration is due again.

Any ideas on what to do?
Should I just keep it dormant?
Should it forward to here?
Does anyone else want it?
Should I let it expire?

I would say forward it to here unless we restore the godiscussions archive...which I doubt we'll ever do.

It might be interesting to see how much traffic it actually got. If there's no real traffic, then I suppose it's fine to let it lapse, but it doesn't seem great to let it go to some domain squatter.

Auction it and use the proceeds to support L19. Now that there is the Go computer language, maybe advertise in one of their forums (https://www.reddit.com/r/golang/ ?), assuming you don't want it picked up by someone with a 60s dance club.

Domains aren’t so expensive these days, I’m all for keeping it and forwarding to L19.

Godiscussions is LEGEND. Way too precious to give it up.

I pay 18 € per year for .com domain … that much I could easily donate.

GoDiscussions.org is a much better name than L19, IMO.
Any chance we can "move back" to it ?
I forget how we "lost" it to begin with.

Note that the original forums were on godiscussions.com not .org

The .org domain has no real value, IMO. It doesn't have old links to it, or high existing search engine rankings. It is a nice name, nothing more.
