Since the tournament is over for me I'd like to thank all my opponents for enjoyable games, dfan for the tournament overview and topazg for organizing all this
When I got knocked out of the tournament I guess I didn't say this. Definitely want to say it, though!
Thanks to everyone involved. This was my first real "tournament" and it was a lot of fun. It at least got me off my rear and made me play a few games.
Specifically now:
Thanks to topazg for starting this and putting it together.
Thanks to dfan for creating the standings page (I still like looking at it to see how it is progressing)
Thanks to my opponents for fun games!
Thanks to all of the other players! This was a lot of fun and I look forward to watching as it progresses, and participating in another one of these in the future.

Re: Life in 19x19 Title Tournament, Round 1 and 2 draws
Just played with POGO and won by resignation.
I felt very uncomfortable in the opening because I never tried 3*3 and 5*3 before. But since I couldn't play for a couple of weeks I wanted to try something refreshing. In the end it got a bit fighty and I think I should have got a worse result than in the game. A couple of moves were especially dangerous ("advantageous") I think.
But I was lucky in this game with conquering the top left and securing my bottom left.
To put everything into a nutshell: POGO played really well but was maybe a bit too cautious, the game should have become much closer!

One piece of advice: I am almost certain that if you're going to play
at D5, you must follow up
with
at C4.
likewise should be at C4.

I'll thank Daal for the match.
He was the victor, but there was plenty of fun to be had in this game.
Extra points if you can guess the pro I am attempting to imitate during the opening on the right side (moves 49-59).

Sorry, I know my game with Mosdefgo is overdue! I've been working seven-day weeks and have had no time. We're trying to get it in this weekend.
It looks like the one other overdue game is Nakamura-ketchup, unless I missed it.

Yes, this is true, I've sent Nakamura two messages through the forums, and I checked his last log in date on KGS(it was a while ago - July 12th). I really DO NOT want to take the forfeit win, so I am waiting for the last minute(to get called out on an incomplete game, so here I am) to say anything. It's been essentially around a month since he last logged on to KGS. I assume he's very busy, and has not had time for Go. I'm not too sure what else to do here. I think I will wait until dfan's game, since it is the last one left. If I don't see a response then, I think it is okay to take the forfeit win.
I know nothing.

What about subsitutes? A player who is out of the tourny could be given a second chance.

Ok, my game is scheduled.
I will be playing Tabemasu tomorrow, August 8th, at 1000 Eastern Daylight Time. I'm already sweating.

Sadly, I've not heard anything from Nakamura, and have not seen anything about a substitute player, so I have sent out a PM to topazg for a win by forfeit. I really dislike this, because it's the loser's bracket, but I see no way around this without delaying the tournament in some way.
I know nothing.
