Does anyone have an estimate of the total number of active Go persons in the US ? Because that percentage is telling.
Random online search: 327M current US population.
1% of that is 3.27M. I'm highly skeptical we have 3.27M active Go persons in the US. ( I doubt 3.27M have even heard of Go, no ? )

"Active" is pretty ambiguous. I wouldn't consider myself an "active" go player right now, but maybe I'm more active than some.

Haha, ok. IMO, I'm at least an active talker/poster. I don't study or play games as much as would be ideal...
