Is there some sort of utility for searching your KGS archive to find out how many games you played with a particular member?

Maybe try ross' "Kgs Statistics" (http://jseki.sourceforge.net/). It downloads all the games and makes some stats. Once downloaded you can use whatever database you want.

go back to previous monthes so that the website downloads your games, then you can fill the "opponent id" input.
