according to the record, black won by 34 points, but according to point eval, white won by 4.5 points

Score Estimator (SE) is notorious for being buggy.

This issue has been known for some time.

SE was programmed to work with Japanese rules. Use of rules with a different scoring system confuse it. AGA rules were used in the game in question.

Fortunately, the score tool, which is used for the official scoring, works.
