2019 San Diego Go Championship hosted by the San Diego Go Club.

This will be the 8th annual San Diego city championship. In 2018, the Open section featured two 7-dans and five 6-dans out of a total of 44 players.
The competition will be played at the San Diego Chess Club in Balboa Park (home of nine museums and the zoo).
For the first time, there will be a $20 entree fee (but all entrance fees will be returned in the prize pool).
In conjunction with the city go championship, there will be the separate 2019 13x13 Youth Go Championship run by Chinese Go Pro Hai Li.
Players must register by 11:59 pm Friday, 3/22/2019 to play in first round. On-site registration for rounds 2-4 allowed.
Players must have AGA membership.
