* Dojos should only be created once you save the info for the first time. And you should be able to delete them. I managed to create a useless memberless dojo
* I don't like that you have to zoom until the object get a distinct marker to interact with them. Perhaps display some kind of list enumerating the objects when you click a combi marker.
* Is there a way to add tournament markers?
* I'd like a filter by marker-type feature.
* The user website links are annoying. They seem to be pure javascript links without a correct href and thus don't display the correct destination in the status bar. And they are displayed even if the user didn't enter a webpage at all.
Sanity is for the weak.

Li,

It would be better if you asked these questions in the Q&A forum on the igolocal site, this way everybody else on the system can benefit from the knowledge.

Your question about deleting Dojos is answered in the Help documentation. (leave the dojo)

I signed up but didn't get a confirmation email. I tried to have it sent again; nothing.

kirk, I'm administratively enabling your account. I suspect the email got intercepted by an anti-spam system?

If anyone has difficulty making an account, please send email to admin at igolocal dot net.

Any bug reports and/or feature requests should be posted on the Igolocal forums - this isn't the right place for them.

Regards,

Chuck Thomas

Kirk also had some issues with email and L19. It seems to happen.

This site is a good thing. :)

I hope a lot of players register and mark their approximate location.
It is also nice to see the location of different go clubs and other gathering points for playing go.

I hope this page will be used by Asians as well.

Everybody can help by spreading it by email to all their Go player friends. The more people are on the system, the more useful it is, and the quicker it spreads.

Sorry? When did I have problems?

You may be referring to GD, when the email system was broken. I was one of many people who weren't getting confirmation emails...

Glad to see all my Montana peeps representin'! :)

Now if only we can get a few more people on there that are close that I DON'T know about, then we'd be talking. :D

"Kirkmc was having trouble getting registered. There are some usability bugaboos with the registration form and captcha and stuff. Probably it's a bug with phpbb3, but it may be worth looking into at least."

This is what I was remembering.

Who woulda thunk... I just got an email from someone who's a few hours from me, but who'll be a few minutes away at the end of the month, presumably on vacation. And I live in a rural area, several hours from any city with a go club.
