Maple glue-up from imgur

“Schwendied” posted photos his woodworking project about a year ago. Massively machined and planed 3x3x18” maple sticks glued up to build a floor board. Laminated planks were lathed into simple non-traditional legs. The grid lines were spray painted using masking tape as a resist; probably the aesthetic downfall.

Very nice project! The thickness is nice; so much work!
probably the aesthetic downfall.
Agreed.
I don't like the (traditional) legs to begin with (his uniform shape is better already).
