A series of "What's the difference between being 18 and 81?" jokes have been doing the rounds in Japan, none very good in my view (e.g. along the lines of "If you say you want to live to see the Tokyo Olympics you are 81; if you say want to go on a journey to discover yourself you are 18").

But with everyone desperately trying to suggest stimulating things to do during the ステイホーム　(stay home) period, Go Weekly offered a go take on this meme.

If you don't know any Showa-era josekis you are 18; if you have completely forgotten them you are 81,

If a pro beats you in a teaching game you are 18; if a pro lets you win you are 81.

If someone says Fujisawa and you think Rina, you are 18; if you think Hideyuki you are 81.

If you play go on the internet you are 18; if you play at thee community centre you are 81,

If you are thinking for a long time during a game you are 18; if you are asleep sitting up you are 81.

If you read Go Weekly you are 18; if you are looking at "Garden of Rest" pamphlets you are 81.

If you check your mobile straight after a game you are 18; if you rush to the toilet you are 81.

Again not specially good in my opinion. I'm sure L19ers can do better...
