This year's Go Congress auction is going online

With the e-Go Congress virtually subbing in for an irl Congress, it seems like the usual board auction is going online as well:

The auction will end at 2:30pm EDT on Sunday August 9th, during the E-Congress closing ceremonies. Shipping is Free on this item. This is because the cost of *airmail shipping* has been generously donated by Laurie Linz of the Danger Monkey Go Club in Denver.

This is about as thick a goban as you will ever find. A 20cm slab of wood - it appears to be kaki - with consistent parallel lines running directly across the top, the ends, and the bottom. With 12cm legs on, the full dimensions are 45cm x 42cm x 32cm.

It is immense. It is impressive. And it could be yours.

The bowls are a nice, dark color, which tells me that they are probably quince. Maybe keyaki? The stones appear to be moon-grade and 9 to 9.5mm (size 32+). Unfortunately they weren't counted or measured with a caliper before they were packed, so I will commit to replacing any missing stones to bring the set up to 181 black and 180 white."
