We saw the article on other social media, yeah, nice to have it here, too. The article was, of course, aimed at curious QR users, not go players. Still, I wish the interviewer had spent more time diving into the go aspect.sybob wrote:Has this been posted here already?

I'm not sure if this is the right thread but the news of the Prime Minister of Japan reminds me about the 25th Pair Go Event 2014 top speaker.

It looks like Japanese go has returned the compliment. Nihon Ki-in publications have just started using QR codes as a way of calling up game records so as to replay them.Has this been posted here already?

Re: Mainstream Go Sightings
That does look like a shogi board, very odd -- particularly when they seem to have had a go board asset for another part of the game:

Re: Mainstream Go Sightings
It's even the same game position. I do not have the impression that the players were stronger than maybe 8 kyu, though?
By the way, where are the bowls?

Re: Mainstream Go Sightings
I’ve seen screenshots from Cyberpunk 2077 that showed the lines correctly, seems to have to do with resolution or zoom state? But comments said the board position is always the same (I didn't see all screenshots nor have I played the game).
