golaxy is a good app to play against (10kyu - 9d+) once you change stone input method

was able to register on web dektop version site https://m.19x19.com/engine/index using my real 6 letter first name, capitalizing the first letter. Then you can also login to the app if you want and play all the difficulty settings. without registering you get limited difficulty opponents. The web version is the same thing except you can make the first move as white so you get komi and first move.

yeah its only online, Im just happy it gives a new ai to test katago strength against!

katago is black, by move 56 golaxy had .02% (less than 1%) chance to win.

I think maybe the app uses the 64bit binary so will only work on 64bit devices. it works on my tablet but not on chromebook

no, the reason is different. the application is installed and starts working. 64 bit won't even install

It seems decent but I don't like how they push you to get a sub. I wanna learn go but not bad enough to pay monthly for an app.

@Rowan, yeah just by doing one set of their tsumego everyday you'll probably get better and have alot of fun. But for playing matches against the ai, no way. i like the names of the players though. Maybe try katago 6b 1 playout with handicap? or crazystone

@And I think the app is 32/64 bit, just the katago binary is 64 bit. so just the offline binary which is not installed wont work. The part that is installed (online) does. Just like on your computer you can install Lizzie but not katago.

possibly depends on the android version. What version do you have on your tablet and chromebook?
