Admin list out of date

The list of KGS admins is years out of date.
Can someone, please fix it? Preferably a KGS admin?
And, it would not hurt to have a current copy here in L19.

No. It hurts to have outdated copies everywhere. KGS should have a page of its own, and the other places only link there.

In his SL page, wms says "...I think this SL is a great way to share KGS status and feature requests with other people..."

I infer that he intended SL to have the definitive list of admins, and the current admins have neglected to update.

That's a good point.

However, one of the things I don't like about KGS is that the admins don't update the help pages. A big one is that the "Main Rooms Policy" page has also been out of date for years, going back to when Glue was a superadmin.

Maybe KGS could recruit more volunteers to help with the help pages? The KGS help pages are a wiki, and a KGS user can be given the ability to edit them. I assume a superadmin can give that ability.


It should be noted I left KGS a year-and-a-half ago. So, my views about KGS should have less weight than those who continue to use it.

It is reasonable to assume, because of the way KGS works, there is a database of users. Furthermore, that database some mechanism, such as a field (attribute), or linked entity, that indicates account capabilities, such as superadmin, gold admin, silver admin, wiki editor, teacher, translator. If that is indeed the case, a developer could create a page somewhere in KGS that queries the database to produce an updated list of admins.

There's a ton of outdated pages about KGS on Sensei's Library, dating from the time SL was effectively the forum to discuss KGS. Later, both SL and KGS went out of active administration.

I wouldn't mind deleting most of the KGS related stuff. The "worst admin" page alone is beneath my - and I would think most people's - standard for a Wiki.
