Are SGF uploads working for anyone?
I can't seem to upload any sgfs to my study journal at this time. Is it just me or is the forum having bugs?

Re: Are SGF uploads working for anyone?
I just tried to upload an SGF, and got the error message "Could not upload attachment to ./files/3407_5e3e9c51dac0178a5cb9735cae4606ab."
Yes, the forum is having bugs.

Re: Are SGF uploads working for anyone?
This is not the same problem as the one mentioned above, but I mention it because it is (a) possible confirmation that bugs are indeed crawling through the site system and (b) it is annoying enough to put me off posting.
About two weeks ago, I think, my mouse cursor started disappearing whenever it was over the white text box we use when composing a post (like the one I am typing in at present). The black I cursor which appears at the point where you are typing shows as normal, but now if I want to go back to, say, insert something higher up or make a correction, when I try to move the cursor to the new point, I can't because I can't see the mouse cursor. So I have to guess - sticking the tail on the donkey may be fun at kids' parties but not here - or move the black I cursor via the keyboard letter by letter, which takes ages of course.
By accident, though, I eventually noticed that the mouse cursor does not really disappear. Instead, it turns into a pure WHITE I cursor (i.e. it does not have a black outline like the arrow cursor), and so is of no use whatsoever, being white on white. The only reason I discovered it was that when I was wiggling my mouse around (as one does), I noticed that when the cursor lies over the edge of the white text box, a portion of the I cursor lies over the surrounding grey background, so you can then see part of the white shape.
I am not having this problem in any other application. I am using Windows 11 with Microsoft Edge.
An even bigger site bug, of course, appears to be that traffic has now withered away to the point where even admins no longer seem to read the site.

Re: Are SGF uploads working for anyone?
Just a possibly irrelevant question ... Can you move thetyping cursor by using the direction keys on the keyboard? If so that would be a workaround if needed.

Yes I can but it’s a slow process - a bit like double declutching in a car. You have to get into the right frame of mind first!

Re: Are SGF uploads working for anyone?
I'm absolutely ecstatic to report that as far as I'm concerned, this bug is solved.
Thank you, admins <3
