Registration for the 2024 US Go Congress in Portland passed the 400 mark!

Now’s the perfect time to consider submerging yourself in a week of Go in the beautiful Northwest USA.

20+ pros from around the world will give lectures, analyze games, and play simuls. There are a dozen tournaments to choose from, including the US Open, Lightning Go, and Pair Go. Plus, lighter events like Crazy Go, Costume Day, and Go Poetry.

For the Wednesday day-off, there will be excursions to the Columbia River valley, the Japanese and Chinese gardens, and the world-famous Rose Garden. I went to all of these places at the 2008 Go Congress as a player and they really stick in my memory. Now, as an organizer, I’m looking forward to retracing my steps.

“The 40th US Go Congress is just around the corner! Sign-up now to avoid higher late fees," says director Stew Towle. "After June 15th, registration fees will increase to $500 Adults / $250 Youth, as it becomes more challenging for us to make adjustments."
