I'm going to have to bail out of this game for a while, I've just had a pretty major family life crisis and want to clear my plate out for a while :(

Last night I meant to say best wishes/hope it works out/etc but couldn't decide which was appropriate and ended up saying nothing... Anyway, I hope everything works out ok... :/

I think 68 is not necessary in the explanation, so white may get sente with the given sequence.

However, black may choose to capture at 65 and ignore a white atari on the two stones, so maybe the main point is still valid.

Black has to connect at 69 to save four stones, right? Or am I missing some thing else big?

Either way, great game guys. It was a lot of fun to watch. The comments were both insightful (at times), and hilarious at others. Some times both at the same time. ;)

I look forward to another one of these, or maybe even participating in one myself some time in the future.

Wow.. its pretty bad when you go back and review the game after a while and face palm on your own moves.... What was I thinking on some of those? Wow!

But this game was really fun. Hope to play another soon.

This seems to be the nature of Malkovich games ... at least, if they go for an extended period of time. You improve and learn new ideas, and go back and think "Did I really play that move THERE?" ... it's an interesting feeling.

I made two horrible below-my-level mistakes in this game. (Sorry, guys!)

I also made a lot of moves I wouldn't play again. It was interesting to see my justification for them. Sometimes I convinced myself, sometimes not...
