Zen Goban - Grand Opening
Zen Goban - Grand Opening
Hello,
I'd like to introduce our new Go supply business, Zen Goban. We have imported a selection of Bamboo Go products from China. We hope to expand our selection in the near future. We have some really interesting Bamboo Boards, and Bowls. We also have some great prices on Yunzi Stones.
Come have a look and drop a comment on our selection or price. I'd love to get some feed back.
Thank you.
Jason

I think you should add information about which region (US or worldwide) the flat shipping applies, or to which countries you ship to at all. And the contact-us page should include the country not just a US two letter state code.
Sanity is for the weak.

You are writing that you are "importing", but where to?
A good system naturally covers all corner cases without further effort.

Since the people in the US are most often the ones that don't come to think that other countries exist, I would guess USA.
(No need to start flaming, I have nothing against US people, but if you come across somebody who is somewhat educated yet totally clueless when it comes to other geography, chances are high that (s)he is from USA.)

Li Kao, you're right on target. I have added some info about shipping destinations and will be making some more modifications to our shipping policy in the near future. We currently ship to the US, however if someone wants to have an item shipped out of the country, I can do it for them.
Harleqin, we import from China to the US currently. However, I reserve the right to import from anywhere
tj86430, You're right to a point, however I do mention where we are located on our About Us page.
Thanks for the feed back!
By the way, we can do bulk orders for clubs or institutions at a discount, please feel free to contact me.

Are ypu willing/able to sell the grass bowls by themselves, without the Yunzis? I've been looking but can't find any place that will just sell the grass bowls.

Re: Zen Goban - Grand Opening
I have a go playing buddy that put a bamboo floor in his town home. He'll love these. Resonable prices, too. That seems to be the advantage of bamboo.
Also, as I was looking at your products, I noticed the multi-color bowls. I'm not really interested in those, but I would be interested in a set of bowls made of the lighter colored wood. Will you be carrying those in the future?

@RazorBrain, I do like the idea of a lighter colored bowl. I'll keep an eye out for them.
@imabuddha, I really like the folding bamboo board. Easy to travel with, but once open they look great. The boards really sit flat too, no nasty hump in the middle.

Sounds good. It's on my "to buy" list.
Another board type that I've never seen for sale is one that separates into 4 pieces, joined either by slots, pegs, or magnets. Boards that fold in half are still a bit unwieldy.
