Re: 2nd Kuchinashi Tournament (4k-6k)
Sorry for this late response. Is that the same time we played earlier (10 am PDT/8pm GMT +1)? If that's the case, I can only play Sunday this week. If you would be willing to go three hours later on Saturday, I could do that as well (I am busy until about 12:45pm PDT on Saturday).

Yep, it's the same time.
Saturday 11pm GMT+1 DST // 1pm PDT is fine with me. Sunday 8pm GMT+1 DST // 10am PDT, too.

Nikolas73 (Black) vs. SoDesuNe (White): B+4.5
It is save to say, that this game wasn't a good one for neither of us.
I commented important parts for me, everybody should feel free to give his opinion on these and on the game itself : )

Re: 2nd Kuchinashi Tournament (4k-6k)
Ha ha ha, I just got a beautiful insight by a Dan player into how Go should be played and subsequently of how this game here should have turned out ^^
Beginning big with showing how Black's stones in the upper right could have died easily - until the very end, just scratching the fact of how White could have killed H14, leading over to show how terrible wrong White's direction of play was (is) in the bottom left corner and actually all over the bottom (starting with the choice of the Joseki in the bottom right corner) to finally conclude that move 10 lost the game : D
Okay, not that bad but move 10 was dubious. At least it got some meaning by Black's choice of Joseki, making White strong in his own sphere of influence (same mistake White did in the lower right).
Well, well - if someone points your nose on something, it all appears to be so clear that it almost turns transparent.

Re: 2nd Kuchinashi Tournament (4k-6k)
Thanks for the comments SoDesuNe - my only addition would be that yes, I originally chose move 29 to help out the F3 stone.
For our next games - is the same time this weekend good? 2pm PDT on Saturday and 11am PDT on Sunday?

Re: 2nd Kuchinashi Tournament (4k-6k)
Sorry for the late notice, I won't be able to play today (usual time in about 30 mins, I believe). Any chance we can fit in two games next week? I should be available Saturday after 1pm PDT.

Re: 2nd Kuchinashi Tournament (4k-6k)
Okay, I try to calculate the times again, hopefully I get them right ^^
PDT is UTC-7, I am UTC+1 DST (which should be equal to UTC+2). So we are nine hours apart. That would make 1pm PDT 10pm my time, which is okay for playing =)
Saturday 1pm PDT / 10pm UTC+1 DST, then. Looking forward to it!

Re: 2nd Kuchinashi Tournament (4k-6k)
Game Four: Nikolas73 (B) vs. SoDesuNe (W) - W+4.5
I got more than lucky in this game, which was actually already lost in the late stages of the opening (wrong choice of Joseki ^^).
Thanks to Nikolas73 for the great games! They were nothing short of thrill : D
I guess I'm playing Redundant now for the honour to challange MountainGo?
