Strength of league players

Greetings all, new to the forum.

I've searched and can't find any reference to the general standard of players in the (lower parts of) the ASR league.

I'm a DDK, which is why the graduated nature of the league appeals to me - but are there any players around my meagre standard? Everybody posting here seems to be a 6K minimum.

Sure, there are DDK players in the league, though you'll be in the bottom 25% or so. That said, why worry? We're happy to play with you regardless, and most of us are willing to do a short review afterwards. I recommend you sign up, give it a shot, and see if you like it. You can always quit the league after a month, if it's not your thing.

Edit: I'm currently in the bottom division, and, of the half-dozen I've seen online so far, two have been DDK. And you've got a reasonable chance at beating an 8k in an even game. Stranger things happen.
