I heard Santa Claus is coming over for christmas. He's been wondering what kind of presents league players would enjoy most, and thought about a few things :

- Group lessons by pros (reserved to league players)
- Credit to buy some go books (at Kiseido, slateandshell... or others)
- KGS+ subscriptions
- Audiogolessons package (more than usual)
- Teaching games by pros.
- Other ideas ?

group lessons (but let's say users can vote on the subject beforehand, not just some random stuff picked a few minutes before the lesson by the teacher) and teaching games would be my picks

uuhmm....giving to the kyu players the chance to play with H would be nice....just for the week after Xmas....
or a reverse komi...
maybe some kyu players can (finally... ) win some games and have a better score....
if it is not a problem with the script....

I like the pro ideas, as in group lessons or teaching games.

Personally, I think the best way to improve is reviews. So, maybe a review of a game by a pro?

Hey hey,

I didn't make myself clear enough about all this.

If (and it's likely to be), the groups teaching are chosen, the lectures will be "theory" lectures, concepts and such, AND applied to real games. After the subjects and schedules are set, I will make an announcement here, and players will submit their sgf.

Say for instance, the lecture is "How to deal with chinese fuseki", the pro will first explain the concept, ideas, behind this fuseki, and THEN will review some of the sgf the players will have submitted beforehand.

So yeah, you won't just sit and listen. You will be encouraged to participate to make the lectures as interactive as possible
