I recently played against a friend on KGS, after finding out that he had learned the basics from a highly ranked family friend in the past.
Being unfamiliar with much more than the rules and fuzzily-remembered advice, my friend (Black) fell for lots of basic tactical traps and performed some doomed invasions that an experienced player would have avoided. For my part, I was sloppy with my structure and lost a lot of territory when he attacked (see moves 170, 174, 182 where I let myself be cut, and then barely kept a large group alive).
I've reviewed the game and annotated it with my thoughts, playing through some of the alternative paths; any advice is appreciated.

Re: Second game on KGS annotated
Once again, thanks for the advice - it's plenty of food for thought.
I have a few things to learn about making bases, killing invasions, sealing territory, and tenuki. I did read about the diagonal jump haengma yesterday, so there is some progress...
