I'll propose a study group for the book "Understanding Dan Level Play" by Yuan Zhou.
The book contains the seven games Yuan Zhou played in his participation of the 2009 Korea Prime Minister Cup. All games are between players of amateur 3 dan or better. The book is 113 pages in length.
I'd like to give plenty of time for people to get a copy of the book. I'd like to run a very casual schedule, so this activity can fit into people's regular schedule comfortably. So the schedule I'll propose is:
Game 1: February 1 - 12
Game 2: February 13 - 26
Game 3: February 27 - March 12
Game 4: March 13 - 26
Game 5: March 27 - April 9
Game 6: April 10 - 23
Game 7: April 24 - May 7th
Starting early, or working ahead is fine. I will personally be trying to memorize the games as part of my study, any other participants can do whatever they feel is most productive.
Finally, my rank is 6 kyu, so my contributions in terms of commentary may be minimal. However, If others join the group, I think there is some benefit and fun in knowing others are also working through the same material.

Re: Study Group: Understanding Dan Level Play
To be honest, I found that book pretty weak. I like his other books very much, but I think looking at games at that level is much less interesting than discussing pro games. I felt that both the games and commentaries were relatively uninteresting.
