Just noticed this forum does not automatically know if you're in DST or not. There is a checkbox to tell it.
Is that fixable? Not the biggest deal I suppose...

Re: Daylight savings
I have been told that it was programmed this way because daylight savings is different all around the world. Different countries implement it at different times or not at all. And apparently it is not easy to get software to work with it.
To quote from wikipedia "DST's occasional clock shifts present other challenges...Software can often adjust computer clocks automatically, but this can be limited and error-prone, particularly when DST protocols are changed."

I'm thinking...

Re: Daylight savings
Daylight Savings Time has to be the *worst* idea Benjamin Franklin ever had (at least, I think he invented it.)
That's what happens when you live by a clock instead of by the sun. You forget that the clock is arbitrary and want to order the world to fit the clock instead of the other way around.
