cgoban on mac issues

Post by Andd »

There are a few kinks with cgoban on my mac (running OS 10.5.8) and i was ondering if I was missing any easy solutions.

Copy and paste do not seem to work in the chat (I'm guessing because Command+c hot key is non existent on PCs)

Game window scales awkwardly, the game and chat are split 50/50 no matter what

Any one else encounter these issues?

I can help with one, for some reason copy and paste use the control button just like Windows instead of the command button.

I'm not having that problem. In fact, if I resize the window from the bottom-right corner, I can narrow the chat area substantially.

I'm running cgoban on my IBM-Mac (OS X 10.4) and I have absolutely no issues at all with game windows or whatsoever. (on the contrary to WBaduk on my Windows 7-netbook, but will that client ever be stable and reliable..? :evil: )

Are all your other programmes up to date? When did the problem occur first? Did you do some updates immediately before the problems occured first?

OT: Nope, not a "hackintosh", but my nearly 6-year old (PowerPC-)iBook is a bit of a grandfather ;-) and indeed belongs to one of the last lines of Apple computers which run on AIM (=Apple,IBM,Motorola)-technology. Of course it would have been easier to immediately write "PowerPC" which (apparently) everybody but me seems to use... ^^;
