Istanbul is also waiting an earthquake around 7. It is not comparable with the Japan earthquake. But, we're not ready. It will cause worst results in Istanbul.

I'm watching news from TV and I want to say that I really sorry.

Well, it's an astrologist, not a scientist, so I think we're safe. :-)

The moon makes a closer approach to Every month, and the Earthquake happened at a time when the tidal forces of the moon were not particularly strong. There might still be strong and dangerous aftershocks from the quake, but they have nothing to do with monthly cycles of the cosmos.

Yeah... Just thought it was interesting that this article was published just before or right about when all this happened.

I dont personally believe in any of it.
I'm thinking...

Now, with a full 48 hours having passed since the quake, the data are starting to smooth out. In the first 24 hours immediately after the 8.9 quake, there were 144 quakes of 5.0 or stronger in the area east of Honshu. In the second 24 hour period thereafter there were 67 quakes of 5.0 or stronger.
144/67 = 2.15, which puts it at slightly less than the expected rule of thumb. So it is starting to look like the 8.9 was the the big one in this sequence.
