Topazg, thank you very much.

It's interesting how the two players can have very different perspectives.
When I went to sleep last night, I was not even sure if you would block with :b87:

,
and after that, I thought this was still going to be a tough end-game for me.
I still have not read any of the hidden comments (including Joaz's recent unhidden ones),
so it'll be like opening treasures.

Maybe I can post my thoughts and questions about the current situation a bit later.

this game and the comments were really nice. :clap:

I think I won't be the only one glad of seeing another Malkovich like this. Whenever you both will be able to afford the time, of course.

(a) and (b) are the 2 biggest end-game moves, basically miai.
(b) is probably bigger than (a) in points; however,
W(a) is very good aji for W, after which W is very strong in the center,
so W wants (a). But the sequence is very important:

Wrong order for W: if W(a),B(c), then if W(d) now, B would not reply at (h) but would play (e) in sente.
Correct order for W: W(d) now, since B(e) is not sente now -- W would (b) -- B must reply with (h);
now W(a),B(c), at which point (e) is sente for both, so W gets it.
Then W has the (j) push and (k) hane in sente.
Since B has the two groups that not 100% settled, W has more places
to gain points (e.g. (f) and (g)), whereas B does not.
So pros would likely prefer W.
Conclusion: at our levels, everything is up for grabs yet. :-|

For these Malkovich games I go through the whole thing, open every HIDE tag, and print it on PDF and then paper for offline perusal, so be certain I'll study those

(although opening all those tags is hideous, need to learn Greasemonkey or something similar for that)
