Yes of course. but with the myoshu problem is there is no books about it. So harder to even study this.

Sakata's style was his own. No one can play exactly like anyone else you have to play your own way. However if you want to study Sakata's way of playing perhaps the best way is to study his games.

IIRC Sakata was playing teritory, letting all the influence to his opponent, then managed to make an unkillable invasion ?
Isn't it the style of ChoChiKun (especially against Takemiya) ?
There's a french translated book by Takemiya where he comments sequences of his games, noticeably against Cho Chi Kun. I always felt sad not to have Cho's comments about these games !
