Game 2 of the 66th Honinbo. Yamashita Keigo (B) vs. Hane Naoki (W) B+R

This Makes 2-0 In Yamashita Keigo's Favor.



Next Game is on June 2nd and 3rd (each day starts at 9am Tokyo time). You can watch live on IGS or Wbaduk.

Yamashita really has Hane's number. This win puts the record at 30-14 in Yamashita's favor.

It's gonna be the same as last year was. 4-1. I still remember that Gobase wrote something like Hane was coming back even stronger. Doesn't look like.

These games seemed pretty lopsided, considering how well Hane is doing this year. He's also challenging for Gosei, and he and Yuki Satoshi are tied for first with 4-1 scores in the Meijin league (where Hane beat Yamashita already).

It would be exciting, but I think where Takao is slightly weaker than Hane (though he had a really good three or four years), Yamashita is stronger.
