Online position and pattern search

Post by bitzi »

Hi all,

Since I'm a software developer I started a new hobby project. It's a web frontent to search for positions and patterns using libkombilo. For now it supports fullboard search as well as corner searches.

As it's just a hobby project it's nothing big really, just some simple, straight-forward functionalities. And there are still things which could be done better :)

Where is your database from? Do you have permission from its creators to publish it in such a way?

I had a quick look through the application.
It doesn't seem possible to do a proper pattern search to me, but you can do searches from whole boards. So, it's not really up to Kombilo standards, but it's nice to have this available online in a web browser.
I see the application also suggests some moves, in some circumstances which I studied so far, the moves suggested seem to omit obviously normal continuations.
