A game (1k vs 1k)

Post by Redundant »

I've been trying to get my main account to 1d, but have had some problems with this. For a while I was having real problems concentrating for an entire game. Here's a game I played today. I won, but I feel my play at times was soft. I've been meaning to post a game for a long time, but in my losses I can pick out a couple mistakes pretty easily, and in wins they usually aren't close enough for any good analysis. This was a 5.5 win for me, and I think I played suboptimally at times. I played black.

25: I agree with Shaddy. This is not a great move. You're forcing him to become strong when you have a group on either side.

53: I'm not all that sure that this isn't best. He has the reduction at D10.

126: He gives you the game with a move that lacks focus. M3 is a solid defensive move, A15 is sente for him.

163: You have at least two bigger moves: N18, H18. Note what he does at 168.
