Is Myungwan Kim still living in LA?
I noticed that he was neither a competitor nor a visiting professional at this year's congress. Has he returned to Korea?

At the Congress, I overheard that he's in Korea right now, and will be back soon. But they didn't seem to know whether "soon" meant a couple weeks, a couple months, or what.

He is back in the U.S. now, and will be visiting the Seattle Go Center on Saturday, Oct. 29. Simuls at 2:00, lecture at 5:00.
