A bit but worse is when i say 'thank you' they reply 'no problem' when it's just a normal game, not a teaching or anything i ask my opponent to do me a favor.

Are you really sure they talk about the game as a whole... Maybe you reconnected or went away for a couple of minutes or was allowed to take back a move...
Or maybe they thought your game was so below standards that they simply thought you thanked them for putting up with you...
never did that, never ask undo even misclick unless in teaching I said it's just a normal game.
Plus, i don't think to say 'thank you' is such a difficult thing.
