I am trying to get this to work on an iPad1 that I am borrowing from work, and it loads the login page with a wait throbber that just spins for maybe 2 minutes. I can enter my login information, but neither "Log In" nor "Guest" buttons respond to touch. Has anyone else seen this, or know what may be going wrong?
Edit: Nevermind. I tried it at home and it just worked. So I think there is a firewall issue at work on wireless.

I finally managed to get my first game, and I ended up with two serious mistakes from the stone not going where I intended. I'm going to stick with playing onTygem, even though the Wbaduk program is superior in every other way.
I have been liking the new interface as well, but I too have been having issues with accidentally messing up moves and having them count. Also, I have been dropped from the server mid game a couple times, but that could because I just installed Voip, so it may be because of my internal server. And it seems like some of my games are not being logged when they are over. I am hoping that some of these bugs can be fixed in an update soon, as I really like the new interface for iphone.

Re: New WBaduk client for iPad & iPhone
Just following up here. I gave wbaduk another try recently and found there is now a setting called "Preview stone on the board" which requires a double tap to send a move to the server. I don't know when this setting was added or if I simply didn't notice it before, but it's now there and I consider wbaduk very playable on the ipad now.
It's a little hard to get games on wbaduk, and ratings seem to be really off there - even more so than Tygem. But nonetheless, it's one more good option for playing go on the ipad.

At last - looks like on iOS6 saving your games works correctly. Previously there was always a blank list instead of your played/observed games. While Tygem app is broken on new iOS and WBaduk works better I will stick with it for some time (till I get 4dan there
