hey L19 peeps,
I'm not sure what went wrong in this game... i thought I had a decent start, and at one point in the middle game I had a nice "double attack" going, but in the end I lost by 21.5!! Please help me figure out my mistakes..
Thanks very much!

7: I might quibble about your fuseki here. A pincer around Q12 would work very well with your lower right corner.
31: This is where the game goes bad. You have a pushing fight on the lower side, where the first person to hane gets an advantage. You also have an eyeless group at Q7, looking more and more in danger as his wall grows. So, which place will you play?
You chose to start a third group. You don't have time for that.
K4 by white was huge.
EDIT: A second problem with 31 is that it starts a fight in the shadow of whites big wall. This is generally a bad idea.
115-129: What are you trying to do here? You have one of his groups almost surrounded. Move 115 around J13 or K13 may finish him off. But, on the verge of a game-winning capture, you go off hunting another group.

I disagree with Joaz about move 115 and onwards - I think it was a good idea, but you had to find moves that attack both sides rather than allowing him to connect both weak groups.

Just to throw a couple of cents in,
at O5 looks like an easier fight. Does anyone know "normal" in that situation?

Actually, we are not in complete disagreement here. Strengthening black's center group is a great way to attack both groups. If black attacks the left group by strengthening himself in the center, then he is better prepared to go after the lower right group - if the left group lives.

Re: would appreciate a review! (2k)
is actually a really common move in this fuseki (at least when white has double 4-4, and I wouldn't think the 3-4 white has makes this move not as good). We don't know who we are; we don't know where we are.
Each of us woke up one moment and here we were in the darkness.
We're nameless things with no memory; no knowledge of what went before,
No understanding of what is now, no knowledge of what will be.

@Joaz: Ah, yes, that makes sense.
@Loons: Another kosumi seems to be normal. Some variations discussed at http://senseis.xmp.net/?BQM274
