Hi everyone. I have been lurking around the forums for a few days and decided to join. The forum says to post an introduction thread so... I'm a 32 year old Electrical Engineer living in Iowa. Go has always been "one of those games I should learn someday", and after watching Hikaro-no-Go on Netflix, have been picking it up but I'm essentially a complete scrub (although I did beat my friend yesterday who is also newb-tastic!).
Unfortunately the local clubs are defunct, but I know at least one other person that plays, and there's always the internet. I just ordered a moderately priced GoBan from YMI, and I'm looking forward to that. Anyway, hi all, hope to see folks in games!
