NewInGo returns, with news about Shusaku

Post by TMark »

A couple of weeks ago, John Fairbairn passed a book of old games to me, with a number of games marked for my interest. One of them happened to be a game of Shusaku and was already in the database and, when I returned the book with the games done, I chided him that we were unlikely to find an unknown game of Shusaku just turning up now. Three days later, I am checking some magazines and not only do I find a new game, I find three new games of Shusaku. Naturally, we are going to share with you a little of the pleasure that we have in finding these rarities, so we are posting one of the games and the background to the discovery on NewInGo (just follow the link below and look for “NewInGo”). All three will appear in due course in the GoGoD Summer 2012 update along with many other goodies, of course.

Best wishes.

I sometimes forget that there may be benighted people who have not read every single page on that site. My apologies.

Well if you could persuade JF to grace our forum again with his thoughtful insights, it might encourage more people to wander around the rest of your site.
