Hi guys and gals, I'm the Wanderer. I started Go about a year ago by buying a Go board in a game store. At the time, I didn't really have anyone to play with, but I just recently found a club that plays in my area, and have enjoyed playing with them for at least the past month. I'd estimate my rank to be about 25 kyu, though I've never been ranked by the AGA, and don't really play ranked games on KGS.

nice to see you. Just hang your hat and coat over there, I think you’re going to enjoy it here. Even some soap operas where you need lots of popcorn.

I’m also relatively new here and I enjoy the mixture of information and chatter.

BTW I joined KGS as 27k beginning of November 2011 and was able to move up to current 13k within two months of relatively intensive playing, though I haven’t played that much since January 2012. Reviews on KGS by friendly players have proven to be very helpful, as well as small dosages of literature, Sensei’s Library, and LifeIn19x19.
