Bailing Cup?

Post by Biondy »

it seems that there is a Chinese professional tournament called Bailing Cup is underway. It's already in its 7th edition, but I can't find any information about this tournament anywhere.

do anybody have information about this tournament?

The only thing I was able to find was this tournament - http://gogameworld.com/gophp/pg_titleli ... eifu%20Cup - that should be in it's 7th edition this year. I don't think it's that one, though, because KIN lists it as "South-West Qiwang" on his page...

The format varies drastically every year. Sometimes it's a match between teams, but the teams have varied from Red/Blue to Men/Women and New Stars/Veterans, and sometimes it's for individuals. One year it was pair go.

Bailing is a pharmaceuticals group.

Yeah, I would also like to know more about this cup. I'm going there this weekend to represent Europe. From what I can tell from the Chinese websites I'll be playing a Taiwanese pro in the first round, and since it's in a knock-out format I guess I will only get to play one game this time...
