Re: aga board minutes
as I understand it... they have to be approved (in the next month's meeting) before they can be posted.
it may be that they haven't yet been mailed to the webmaster for posting (or he's just behind)

Re: aga board minutes
The normal system has been disrupted because the AGA secretary resigned. I'm afraid the best you can do at the moment is read the press releases I have been sending the ejournal. I don't know if there's an easy way to see them all or not.

Re: aga board minutes
I'm sorry to hear that Polly has left. She's done stalwart service for the AGA for long enough that I can't count. She was a key member of the organizing team for the 2001 congress in Chicago and was always a cheerful face in the breakfast line at other events.
With the secretary post being vacant, does this mean there will be no minutes at all for the meetings?

Re: aga board minutes
No, there are minutes. Andy (!) has been taking them. I'm pretty sure we've approved some more recent ones than the October meeting, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Re: aga board minutes
Does this mean elections will include a secretary come a few months from now?

The secretary is appointed, not elected. We need a volunteer...

Re: aga board minutes
Speaking of volunteers:
Hows that new president search coming? Surely much of the AGA could have been contacted by now in the search to find someone new.

Re: aga board minutes
I had a read over the minutes today, and I must say that the meetings sound pretty tense.

The AGA can choose those who are interested to go overseas and represent the AGA in administrative functions.
