67th Honinbo on Nico Nico Video
The match will start in a few days between Yamashita Keigo and Iyama Yuta. The most interesting thing to me besides two of my favorite players in it is that Nico Nico will be showing it.

Re: 67th Honinbo on Nico Nico Video
I've spent far too much time on Nico Nico in the past... Now I'll have to go find some of the old links I have to some of my favorite vids.
Thanks for the link.

I'm watching this now. It's pretty cool. I'm glad to see Niconico get more Go stuff going.

Ooh, this is really cool. I wish I understood Japanese, it would be even cooler to hear the commentary.

I couldn't use it. Something said I needed a paid account or something like that, I think. Or maybe I just did it wrong. Can anyone clarify this?

Here is the position after the first day:
Can anyone post an SGF of the first day? None of the usual places have it, since it's only a half-game so far, and IGS' look command only gives this final position.

Here is the game as it stood at lunch break at which point I went to bed; the best I can do for you.

Black then played B6 and white replied with C3. Then I went to bed.

Re: 67th Honinbo on Nico Nico Video
I used a free account to login. The last time I went to Sakura con here in Seattle they were heavily promoting Nico Nico and they did have an English version to make an account. After login, I went to that link and cleared a window asking if I wanted to get a premium account.
They were able to submit question to the pro doing commentary and my favorite was "How do pro players keep their concentration level high. Whenever it's my opponents turn, I get bored and start watching anime."

This is the board position before lunch today. The last moves were the 3-3 on top left, white block, and black hane.
Re: 67th Honinbo on Nico Nico Video
Really Amazing game. It has just ended with Yamashita Honinbo resigning after a complicated battle.
Iyama Yuuta is currently my favorite pro from Japan and I hope he continues to do well. Iyama also won their last game (by 12.5).
So right now it's 1-0 to Iyama Yuuta in the Honinbo title match. Will Yamashita take the next game I wonder? Iyama has been in top form lately and I hope he will continue to play so well.

The website sounds interesting. Do you have a link to making an English account?

I don't know if the logins work on both languages, but you can try it.
