Hi Kenadi,
hane at P8 is a big move. Proverb: hane the head of 2 (enemy) stones.
In reply, if
hane at P7, you can double hane at o7.
is not good, but after
, the local shape is such that both B and W want to get ahead:
B wants to get ahead at P9, or hane P8.
Here, B is strong enough to hane P8.
W also wants to hane P9, but locally,
W is not strong enough: if
hane P9,
B will cut at P8 and fight with W.
So W has to extend to P8 on
.
P8/P9 is the big shared points, locally and globally.
W got P8 first with
-- you should've played P8 yourself for

For example,
would be much more efficient at Q13.
But
sitting at Q11 is very cramped.
By looking at this local shape afterwards,
we can tell B made some mistakes earlier here

Locally,
can jump to o10, or even N9 (more reading required).
W got a big point first with

W ignored your

Re: Game review (21k)
Here are some comments on your game. I will say it was a good game for a 21 kyu - I've seen far worse mistakes from players at your level. That said, there is a lot you can improve on.
Some things to pay attention to:
1. Don't follow your opponent around. Try to always be finding the biggest move.
2. Pay attention to your spacing in the opening. 2 space extensions for bases and 5 space extensions for making frameworks.
3. Make sure you find time to deal with what your opponent is doing - invade or reduce whenever your opponent has more potential than you do. When you have more potential, then feel free to build.
4. Try to avoid broken shape like the plague. It is never your friend.
My comments end at move 66.
