Sequence in pro games

Post by OtakuViking »

Hello everyone! This concerns a sequence I've seen played recently in pro games in a certain opening. I think it might be useful to study. The usual result would be for white to gain a wall while black saves his stones and takes territory. However, it might be possible to play more aggressively and try to attack the black group. Will this be reasonable? There are many variations and I have only done some preliminary work in the SGF, it is far from complete.

Maybe someone here can enlighten me more about this sequence?
