From the subject line I thought you were trying to understand the machinations of the Department of Defense.
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

i am not sure i agree with DrStraw on the lack of merit of the proof the 4 color theorem http://www.lifein19x19.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=191175#p191175, but for this problem I have to ask: what is the point ?

It is one more solution in probably quite a lot, it does not seem that the method is that ground breaking, just a program spilling results.

It is neither fertile nor a complete result (in my view).
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.
