Hey you guys!
My name is Katharsys. I've been into Go since I was about 14 (22 now). I have taken quite a long hiatus from Go just because my life became very hectic the time I got out of high school and I was always so nervous to play the game (I'm sure that some of you can relate), but I have always maintained my studies by doing problems every week and reading my Go books. Now that life has settled down (well, IS settling down) I certainly need to start back up again so I have something positive to focus on. I estimate my strength at around 13k, but time will tell my true rank once I start playing on KGS and OGS (or is IGS better?). By joining this website, I am hoping to track my progress in a Go journal (both physical and online) so that I can keep what little positive energy I have left in me alive.

Yes, and the are all in the USA.
