Scheduled time for 54th Judan, 3rd game?
Hi all -
Does anyone know the start time for the Ida-Iyama third game on April 14? I can't seem to find any info anywhere.

According to Nihon Kiin's website, the game will take place at 9:30 am (Japanese Standard Time, GMT+9) on April 14.

Hopefully Iyama will focus more on international tournaments if he becomes the first King of the Seven Kingdoms.

When I log in to nico video to view the match but it say premium only, so I take a nap so that I'll wake up when the match is done, but I dream that Iyama Yuta lost (I cheer him) so I wake up earlier and found that the match doesn't end yet!

Iyama has just won the Judan. He's now the first to have accomplished the grand slam of Japanese Go. Congratulations to Iyama for this amazing achievement.
However... I can't help but lament the decline of Japanese Go.
Now that Iyama has conclusively proven himself to be the big fish in a small and shrinking pond, I hope he will turn his attention toward international tournaments. To be all that he can be, Iyama must now face the Chinese and the Korean pros. Good luck!

Do you have a time machine? The game is still ongoing according to wbaduk.

Haven't finished. I think Iyama will lose this game by a small margin.
[Edit] Iyama resigned after move 269. Black is leading 1.5.

And Iyama resigned. So the dream I had that he would win and then somehow replace one of the Japanese players at the Ing cup won't happen.

I'll have to go back and study this one, when I watched black had (what seemed to me to be) some floating stones after reducing white in the bottom left and there was a multistep ko that didn't look promising. I thought that it wasn't going well for him and yet he won.

I wondered why Iyama played 125 as he did, what was wrong with kosumi?

The multistep ko is the key! I have the impression that whoever tries to settle the ko first is in a disadvantage.

I regret relaying the false news to reddit, but it's my lesson to learn not to trust everything on the internet. My (bad) dream came true though.
