GoQuest Elo system
I have recently made a GoQuest account and I enjoy 9x9 play a lot. However I'm curious on the elo system. I understand that the rank is not important, but the elo, but I have noticed that they don't take away much elo if you lose to a person of lower elo. Now it could have been that this person was new and still working within their 40 game set, so their true rank is not known. So maybe another game would show the elo system operates like any other. So thoughts? is GoQuest mostly a closed set of 9x9 games and so a better way to view our rank amongst peers?
