Thanks, Ed.EdLee wrote:Hi Echia -- it takes a few moments and is worth it to learn how to use the [SGF] tags --
include the entire SGF text here; don't rely on external links because then you're at the mercy of one additional failure:
Unfortunately, the first post in the topic of posting SGF files says this:
That works for KGS, because the link is to an SGF file. That detail might well be lost on a new member. Curiously, you can download an SGF file from Eidogo but you can't link to one. I guess they produce the SGF file on the fly when you download. The preferred method is to refer to the SGF file by URL. For example, you can link to a game from the KGS archives.
Anyway, things could be made clearer.

A few remarks, with the assistance of Katago:
At move 15, approaching the corner (a or b) is 2-3 points better than playing on the side. Generally speaking, if there is no urgent move on the board, approaching a 3-4 point is often the best move.
At move 19, hane is 3 points better then extend, see the proverb https://senseis.xmp.net/?RespondToAttachmentWithHane (however, beware that proverbs don't always work).
Move 27: the double hane joseki is 4.5 points better. You keep the corner territory, and your opponent gets a ponnuki which is not that useful. The sequence after move 41 was catastrophic. Here is a better variation:

A few questions:
- what did you learn from this game before offering it for review?
- what did you not understand about this game, so that you offered it for review?
- which kind of things do you want to learn?
Here's what I can offer, based on this game alone, in terms of meaningful takeaways for your next games:

To link to an sgf file on eidogo with browsing url such as http://eidogo.com/#1qaQKFXsI you need to change it to http://eidogo.com/sgf/1qaQKFXsI.sgf ie add an intermediate sgf directory, remove the leading # from the alphanumeric id, and append '.sgf'.
Then stick that url within 'sgf' tags.
In action:
Then stick that url within 'sgf' tags.

Re: A review would be appreiciated
The decision to invade in the lower left seems poorly timed and small.
At the time that you choose to do it, there are three weak groups on the board:
1) The circled white group is not precarious, but if you ever play 'a', it is floating. Any move that you make that tends to lock it in turns 'a' into a big sente move.
2) Your circled black group has maybe one eye. If you invade in the corner and compel him to play moves around 'b', it could be in trouble.
3) His stone marked with a square is weak, but if it gets a little support it will neutralize your walls in the upper right.
So I would play something like this:
Note how it changes the status of all of the aforementioned groups: it makes his worse and yours better.
